Andrew's research on Waveform Analytics concerns development of novel techniques to enhance operation of the emergent power-electronics dominated grid with the goal of helping accelerate the transition to a fully renewable energy system. Prior to joining the research group his 15-year career included Engineering and R&D roles at a number of high-tech companies in the defence, commercial and medical sectors. Originally from the UK, Andrew holds a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Sussex and an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge.
