Michael Thomas is a research engineer and software developer at the ANU Centre for Energy Systems (ACES). He works across a handful of projects, modelling decarbonisation pathways for small and large electrical networks. 

Michael joined the Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program (now part of ACES) in 2019. Prior to this he was a postdoctoral researcher using computational chemistry techniques to investigate protein function, disease state and supramolecular aggregation pathways.
